This is an opportunity to explore approaches to writing a memoir, whether it is your own story or someone else’s. You will be introduced to a range of methods for writing  memoir, family history, biography or autobiography. I will guide you through key questions such as, memory versus fact and who has the right to tell this story? And importantly, how to shape these experiences into a compelling narrative. We will also look at the research required to assist you.

Curator’s Choice will receive the Alfred Cohen Art Prize of £500, awarded at the School House Gallery, Wighton, on this evening.
